Margaret Island

Explore Margaret Island - a bunch of facilities and opportunities, for example: running track encircles the island, music fountain, Palatinus Bath, picnic…

Personally, I love this place, since the endless opportunities are given therefore you can basically change your mind any time, and still have something fun to do there.

Városliget

Have a walk in the beautiful Városliget. Budapest’s largest park. The best way to explore the park is to walk from one end, Vajdahunyad Castle, to the other end where the Zoo is. Heroes’ square also is nearby, what is another must see in my opinion. If it is cold enough the ice skating rink might be open as well, what is an awesome program.

I personally really enjoy walking around there because of the pure beauty of the area, and all the opportunities you have there, to have a good time.

You can take the chairlift from Zugliget to János-hegy and visit the Erzsébet gazebo.

The view is definitely breathtaking.

St. Stephen's Basilica

St. Stephen’s Basilica: One of Hungary’s most important religious buildings with beautiful architecture! There are many incredible restaurants and cafes surrounding it so you have a wide array of options. My ultimate advice: Try Hungary’s most delicious foods/treats such as kürtőskalács, Túró Rudi, halászlé, gulyás leves!

Váci street

Go for a shopping to Váci street, it has several chain stores where you can find fashionable clothes or you can buy souvenirs or gifts in Hungarian shops to your loved ones/as a memory. It is between Vörösmarty square (the Gerbeaud Confectionery is here and I really love this place) and the Great Market Hall.

360 Bar

Go to 360 Bar, which is in the Andrássy street. This is a bar in the top of a building, from where you can see all of Budapest. The lemonades are very tasty :) I would also recommend Gellért hill, the view is fascinating.
