ERASMUS+ UNESCO
Making UNESCO World Heritage Sites Appealing to the Young
Exchange 2 - from Budapest to Folkestone
11.02.2019-17.02.2019
In February we traveled to Folkstone, United Kingdom with the ERASMUS+ program. We stayed at a guest house and had breakfast at Earlscliff every morning. Each day we visited a different World Heritage sight including Canterbury, Dover Castle, Tower or London and Greenwich.
This program helped us understand the value and importance of preserving these places so that future generations can experience it. Our trip helped us come up with pragmatic ideas to capture the attention of the youth. We got to know the culture and the way of life. We had a lot of fun with the students. They were very friendly and helpful. We made a lot of friends. It was interesting to see their school life as it is so structured and different from ours. We wish our food was as amazing as in Earlscliff!
We would like to provide the same experience for them to explore Hungary in a joyful way.
